While there's no direct financial benefit to this site, I've learned quite a bit building it and I've shared ongoing updates on that process. Is there value in that? I believe so, but it's certainly not a financial one.
I find many problems with how AI platforms currently operate, but if I had to boil it down to only a single point it would be attribution—or lack thereof. I recall early days of blogging when someone didn’t properly attributed its source by sloppily typing “Google Search” and shit hit the fan real fast. These days nobody but the affected seems to care. Deriving financial gains from what was publicly available for free and is not your intellectual property is not OK and should never ever be normalized.

I don't have all the answers. I'm still figuring out what this next chapter looks like. But I know it involves simpler tools, smaller communities, and software that exists to serve rather than extract. I know it involves working with people who share those values.
